What is the best way to check out a prospective videographer? We'd suggest that you look at DVDs that were actually received by a customer, that were shot by the person who will eventually do the shooting at your wedding.
That's why we encourage you to ask us to send DVD samples of our work. We are happy to let you know in advance who your videographer will be, and we show you DVDs of weddings shot by that person.
Please keep in mind that when other companies let you see their samples, the work may or may not have been done by the person who will actually be at your wedding, you need to question them very carefully about that! A fancy demo, unfortunately, doesn't show you what you will receive.
That's why we strongly suggest that you request DVD samples of full-length weddings that were actually received by a couple. We're not suggesting that you necessarily need to watch every single second of DVDs that run one to two hours of somebody else's wedding day, but it should be an option made available to you!
And it should raise a big question in your mind if you are not allowed to see actual wedding day samples received by a couple, because you want to be sure that the style and caliber of the DVDs that you receive will be the beautiful reflection of your day that you are expecting!
